About me

Hello, I'm Jaymie. Thank you for checking out my website! ☺ Working out of Toronto, I'm a developer with expertise in both email and web development.

For the past four years, my work has been focused on detail-oriented email development with experience designing, coding, and testing responsive, accessible HTML emails across major email clients. Skilled in translating marketing designs into pixel-perfect, high-performing emails while ensuring compatibility, deliverability, and performance best practices in a multitude of platforms, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

In additon to email development, I'm proficient in building HTML-based landing pages and websites. I integrate CSS (or a CSS preprocessors) or a CSS framework (if needed), and JavaScript. For more complex projects, I'm also able to create React-based websites/apps, along with installing npm packages and robust tools to assist in the building process. I would love an new opportunity to work more with React so I can further focus on learning and growing my skillset.

Coding allows me to express my creativity, be challenged, as well as learn and acquire new skills.

When I'm not coding, I like to watch movies (check out my Letterboxd), attend exercise classes, nurture my crafting projects, go to live concerts, studying pop culture for trivia nights, take Spanish lessons, and make friends with dogs.
